About

Swimming Pool Certificate to be provided to Councils

Victorian councils require a valid Certificate of Barrier Compliance for most private swimming pools and spas. Owners must register their pool or spa with council, arrange periodic inspections and lodge the certificate by the due date set for their property. Failure to comply can result in infringement notices or enforcement action. JPBCI assists owners and builders by coordinating inspections, reviewing documentation and providing clear advice so that the required certificates are issued correctly and submitted to council on time.
